1985 Chevy C10 Silverado<\/strong> – Thoroughly redesigned from stem to stern, the all-new third generation C\/K trucks for 1973 proved to be the longest lived series in Chevrolet\u2019s history and the three-box styling has proved quite popular since. Aside from wheels and hubcaps, there really wasn\u2019t much that was round anywhere in the design other than the body sides that featured a sculpted character line with a central plateau panel as well as curved side glass, a first on a GM truck. The largely rectangular front fascia of the Rounded Line trucks (leading to the colloquial “Square-body<\/i>” and “Box-body<\/i>” nicknames from the media and public<\/sup>) led to many departures from previous generations of C\/K truck design. For 1985, the grille was changed for the last time (as the C\/K).<\/sup><\/sup> On two-tone Chevrolet trucks, the center of the grille was painted body-color (in place of silver).<\/p>\n

We always have great C10s but every once in a while we get one that is truly exceptional! This immaculate 1985 C10 Silverado was a truck that had every inch touched during the build. It was built by Brian Harrison (owner – Harrison’s Rods & Customs) as his personal vehicle about 3 years ago but was sold a few years later. Brian described the build in an interview as a truck with a “true hot rod look and sound”. This was achieved with just the right combination of drivetrain, stance, and exhaust. The motor is a 355 with late-model Iroc-Z heads and a QuickFuel carb that pushes about 375hp. It’s breathes through 3″ Shorty headers and a 3″ Magnaflow exhaust. The perfect stance was achieved through the obvious drop in suspension along with 18″\/20″ American Racing Wheels. This is a truck you can no longer build a twin to at our asking price.
