2017 Porsche Macan S – The 2017 Porsche Macan S was part of the first generation (95B) of Porsche’s compact luxury crossover SUV, introduced in 2014 and produced through 2026. It was the sportier variant in the Macan lineup, positioned above the standard Macan and below the Macan Turbo, and was designed to deliver high-performance driving dynamics in a compact SUV form. Porsche first announced the Macan in 2010 as a “Cayenne Junior” project, with the name “Macan” derived from the Indonesian word for tiger. The first generation launched in Europe in 2014 and in the U.S. in 2015, with the Macan S debuting alongside the standard Macan.
