1992 Chevy Camaro Z28 (Heritage Edition) – Originally released in 1966, the Camaro was Chevy’s answer to Ford’s wildly popular Mustang. Produced as an evolution of the Corvair and the Nova, the Camaro was instantly popular for its lean, muscular styling and variety of options, including Chevy’s big-block V-8 under the hood. To this day the Camaro is recognized as the Mustang’s biggest rival (despite going out of production for a few years).  The Chevrolet Camaro celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1992, with sales totaling 3.7 million over the years. This would also be the last year for the angular 1982 F-body and the occasion was reflected in a special dash plaque. The Z03 exterior Heritage Package offered a body-colored grille and stripes on the hood and rear deck. While Z03 was available on all models, it was limited to Black, White, Red or Purple for the Z28, while RS buyers could also get Polo Green II. Overall, only 8197 buyers opted for this package.

If the current values of limited edition 60’s and 70’s Camaros isn’t enough proof for you, you’d be silly to argue the that this Heritage Edition will go anywhere but up! Only 430 were produced in Bright Red. And we understand that if you are more interested in driving your classic that just admiring it in your garage, you are in luck! This fully loaded Z28 has only 79k miles and drives great. With exception of the radio, everything on this Camaro is original and in great shape. The only small flaws we can note are the need for a new center console hinge and light peeling on a small section of the hood stripe.
