Description

1990 Chevy C1500 Silverado – C/K is a series of trucks that were manufactured by General Motors. Marketed under the Chevrolet and GMC brands, the C/K series included a wide range of vehicles. While most commonly associated with pickup trucks, the model line also included chassis-cab trucks and medium-duty trucks and served as the basis for GM full-size SUVs. The fourth-generation C/K was introduced in April 1987 for the 1988 model year. The first line not assigned a generational moniker by General Motors, it is known by its GMT400 internal codename. Slightly smaller in cab dimensions than the Rounded Line generation, the fourth-generation C/K increased interior space over its predecessor. In a branding change, the C/K nomenclature became exclusive to Chevrolet, as all GMC pickups became Sierras (GMC retained the C/K nomenclature for its internal model codes). Chevrolet introduced several specialized variants of the C/K series, including the work-oriented W/T 1500, off-road Z71, and the high-performance 454SS.

It is widely known that the 1988-1998 GM Trucks are the hottest trucks on the market and their popularity is well deserved. After all, they have beautiful styling, great safety and comfort features, and they drive like new vehicles. They have matured to a point where they have are now widely accepted in the world of “classic” vehicles and are welcome entrants to the largest of car shows. What separates the great C/K examples today from the thousands of trucks produced are obviously have lower miles and/or have been well maintained over the last 30 or so years. This very clean 1990 Silverado is one such vehicle! This 1-owner C1500 recently arrived to the dealership from Alabama and is in great running order. This Silverado is a truck we would normally spend a little on to take to the next level with a $20-25k price tag. Due to storage space and timing we’ve opted to let the this one go for much cheaper and we estimate $2k is all it needs to be very nice. Areas needing TLC include; hood paint, roof paint, older tires, and a faded bench seat. A complete list of features and options includes; 5.7L V8, Auto, 2wd, A/C, Cloth Gray Bench Seat (new cover), Cruise Control, Chrome Bumpers/Grille, Black Sport Mirrors, Rubber Bedmat, Rubber Floormats, Owners Manuals, Power Windows/Locks, Pioneer AM/FM/CD Stereo, Tilt Steering, Tinted Windows, Spare Tire, 15″ 454SS Wheels, & BF Goodrich Raised White Letter Tires! Drive it daily or make into your weekend show truck. Either way, you will own one of the nicest OBS trucks on the market and it will only continue to appreciate over time.
