1984 Chevy C10 Silverado “Cayenne” – 5.3L Vortec Vmax, 4L60E Auto, Custom Alpine Stereo, Heated Seats, Vintage A/C, 22/24″ Racelines, New Rubber!
1984 Chevy C10 Silverado “Cayenne” – Thoroughly redesigned from stem to stern, the all-new third generation C/K trucks for 1973 proved to be the longest lived series in Chevrolet’s history and the three-box styling has proved quite popular since. Aside from wheels and hubcaps, there really wasn’t much that was round anywhere in the design other than the body sides that featured a sculpted character line with a central plateau panel as well as curved side glass, a first on a GM truck. In 1984, Chevy again made changes to the front end of the truck, the only major area of change in 15 years of production. Quadruple headlights were made optional. Interior received changes to the wiper controls and the integration of the high beam lights and cruise control being moved to turn signal stalk. Hood ornaments also disappear.
A few time a year we receive vehicles that fall directly into the “You can’t build it for the asking price” category. This killer ’84 short bed, nicknamed “Cayenne”, is one such classic truck! Aside from the labor expenses, a quick overview of the components in this build will confirm the deal being offered here today. And while some builds are far too owner specific or just simply overboard, this one has all the right components for cruising in both comfort and style. Features and options include; 5.3L Vortec Vmax V8, 4L60E Automatic, 3:73 Positrac, Wilwood 4-Wheel Discs, Tubeless A-arms, VDO Gauges, Tachometer, Dynamat Interior, Custom Alpine Stereo, Chrome Grille/Mirrors/Bumpers, Cowl Hood, Heated Seats, Vintage A/C, Power Windows/Locks, Spray-in Bedliner, Tilt Steering, Tinted Windows, Upgraded Steering Wheel, 22/24″ Racelines, & New Rubber! With only 3k miles on the build, this truck is exceptionally clean but not a 6-figure vehicle you have to park miles away from others. This is perfect Squarebody to jump in an enjoy on just about every collector’s budget. Don’t spend $60k+ over the next 6 months building what you can be enjoying next week!
