1975 GMC Sierra Classic C15 “Gentleman Jim” – A RARE truck that has become one of the most desirable and collectable Special Editions ever built! The Gentleman Jim was a collaboration between GM & Hickey Enterprises of California to literally “Deck Out” a truck. Basically a Highly Optioned, 350 powered GMC Sierra Classic 2wd LWB, only available in Black & Yuba Gold, with Factory bucket seats, console and 8 track player would roll into the dealership and meet it’s “Image Maker” kit (as Hickey called it). There it was transformed into a “Gentleman Jim” with one of a kind bed rails & tonneau cover, Cibie Fog Lights (imported from France), chrome mud flaps, locking lug nuts and the Signature Gentleman Jim Floor Mats & Decals. All Gentleman Jims were the same with the only variation being the placement of the foglight switch and slight positioning differences in the decal placement from dealership to dealership.

At TXCLSX we love rare trucks so when this Gentleman Jim arrived, we really had to curb our excitement! With less that 1,000 being produced in 1975, you can be assured that there are very few on the road 50 years later. We don’t have a detailed history on this particular example but our inspection found that it has been partially restored at some point and the odometer shows 48k miles. Our only improvement was the addition of a brand new steering wheel. Everything works like it should but we have not installed the new A/C yet. The A/C will be installed before the G.J. goes to its new home or we can adjust the price for you to do it yourself.
