Description

1971 GMC 3500 Flatbed: If you are like most of the public, you are probably amazed that it costs almost $70k to own a brand new dually! Then, it’s worth about half that in a few years. Sure would be nice if you could own an equally capable, great looking truck, that appreciates daily for under $30k. After all, you’re not planning to pull the space shuttle down a CA freeway. You just need something to haul a small gooseneck or bumper pull trailer and you’d like to do it in style. Maybe you don’t want to haul a thing. If you are just into making wise investments you know that when you purchase a rare classic vehicle in excellent condition, you never go wrong! We think you will agree that this beautiful 1971 GMC 1-Ton dually is a great purchase for all scenarios. This GMC spent its first 36 years on a ranch in TN before being purchase from a farmer in MS in 2007. While in Mississippi last month we acquired this truck from that second owner. Aside from the original owners manual, we were provided with limited documentation on this GMC but we learned this truck has had only 65k miles of use from new. Because we restore 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks we strongly agree that the condition of this truck verifys the history. The truck was repainted in 2014 and shows like new. This truck was driven from Biloxi, MS to Houston, TX last month with no issues. The 454 has plenty of power and the electronic overdrive allows for 70mph highway speeds a modest RPMs. Upon arrival to TX we performed a basic tune-up, added new wheels and installed the LED light bar on top of the headache rack. Features and options incluse; 454 V8, Auto w/OD (DNE-2), 2WD, RWD, Dually, Flatbed with Headache Rack & Gooseneck Receiver, Power Steering & Brakes, Factory A/C, Retro GMC AM/FM/Cassette (uncut dash), Tilt Steering, Tinted Glass, Chrome Bumper/Grille/Mirrors, Clearance Lights, 52″ LED Light Bar, Wooden Bed Sides, Tow Package, Tire Tools, New 16″ Chrome Rims, and Thick Michelin LTX 235/85 R16 Tires!

NADA and CPI Black Book value this truck between $38,535 and $39,875. We bought the truck right and have priced it very fairly for a prompt sale. This truck will not last at this price! We already know your wife said yes to ‘investing wisely’ so call when you are ready to leave a deposit and become the owner of a great GMC truck.
