Description

1929 Ford Model A Phaeton – Ford Motor Company built 1.5 million cars in 1929 — a testament to the Model A’s popularity. Changes from the previous year were minor. Nickel plating was replaced with chrome, and fender-well spare tires were added to the options list. The 1929 Ford Model A Phaeton featured a 103.5 in wheelbase, 200.5 cu. in. L-head inline four-cylinder engine, and four-wheel mechanical drum brakes when new. It also had a three-speed manual transmission and a top speed of around 65 mph. The Phaeton differs from a convertible in that it doesn’t have sliding or winding windows in the body or doors.

This beautiful, all-steel Hot Rod was a 70’s build in CA at the famous Magoo’s Street Rods. It was a magazine cover car and has been on the show circuit for almost 50 years! As you can see it has had some upgrades over the years and still presents extremely well. The paint it over 50 years old and does show it’s age in some areas. Its unique look is a true head-turner and with only 18k miles on the build, you can see it has been used for local shows only. Features and options include; 351 V8, Auto, Chrome Bumpers/Mirrors/Grille, Cruise Control, Chrome Air Cleaner & Ribbed Valve Covers, Edelbrock Carb, Electric Fan, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, Jaguar Rear End, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, LeCarra Wood Wheel, Rear Trunk Box, 14″ Spoke Wheels, and New 185/70 R14 Tires!
